PARAMYTHIAS

The company PAPADOPOULOS was founded in 1959 and is a cheese factory based in Zervochori Paramythias in Thesprotia.

It processes daily about five tons of goat and sheep milk which it collects from the producers of the wider area of ​​the Municipality of Souli. It has its own production, packaging and storage facilities.

The adherence to the traditional methods of cheese production in combination with the excellently trained workforce of the company guarantee the excellent quality and authenticity of its products.

In this modern cheese factory the production team uses technology to ensure a level of absolute hygiene and quality.
In the comfortable spaces of the company one can see the combination of modern technology with traditional techniques. From the room with the refrigerated tanks that receive the fresh milk to the maturing rooms that host the feta cheese for the required maturation period. The rooms are mediated by the stainless steel perforated containers where the cheese is placed and keeped storage.

The company has developed HACCP systems for each production line in order to fully ensure the safety of the products as well as a certified quality assurance system in accordance with EN ISO 22000: 2005 standards.
