WARSTEINER
In 1753, Antonius Cramer began producing beer that he and his descendants owned in the Warstein area.
In 1802, however, it was catastrophic as a fire burned everything in the brewery, which was built from scratch. Today the brewery site, called Domschänke, is a historic and visitable place.
Warsteiner is among the four best-selling beers in Germany. It is known for the balloon festival that it holds every year and is the official beer of the German airline Lufthansa, while it also supports various sporting events such as football in Germany. It is still run by the Cramer family until today.
