XRYSAFH

The company XRYSAFI was founded in the island Lemnos 28 years ago. This is a family business that passionately continues the rich gastronomic tradition of the island.

With the emblem of the sea lily, a characteristic and rare element of the flora of Lemnos, the XRYSAFI family revives traditional recipes utilizing the unique raw materials of the land of Lemnos: the sheep and goat milk, the flour from the variety "mavragani", the locals.

In all stages of production the company XRYSAFI implements a certified food safety management system EN ISO 22000: 2005.

At the same time, since 2009 he collaborates closely with the "DEPARTMENT OF FOOD SCIENCE & NUTRITION" of the UNIVERSITY OF THE AEGEAN (www.fns.aegean.gr) in matters of research and development. This collaboration is multidimensional and among other things includes the implementation of approved research programs in order to create new innovative traditional products.
